OUR CHRISTMAS OUTREACH MINISTRY has been happening for over thirty
years. This past Christmas we helped 85 families which included 181 children. Each family
received a turkey or ham, potatoes, home baked cookies, etc. for their holiday meal and many
extra groceries plus a special gift for each person. Posted in Fellowship Hall are several thank
you notes and a letter from the Foothill Healthy Babies Agency, one of the agencies who provide
us with names of the families needing a little extra help. - Kay

February
God of the winter sky, fill the night
with stars, for I need to lift my eyes
and raise my weary soul
from shadows and short days,
from dreary tasks and unending lists.
Shine bright lights into the darkness
and remind me that new life and dormant
seeds gather strength in the depths of
the earth. Open me to the newness inside
me waiting to be born. Amen.
